Seth Godin on Self-Truth and Mastery

An insightful reminder from Seth Godin not to use the pursuit of (absolute) mastery as an excuse for inaction.

This could be a particular trap for sovereign professionals who: a) are often passionate about their chosen specialism, and b) lack the managerial structure that might slap them out of intellectual narcissism and back to the real world.  Of course, the bank manager will perform that role in time, but by then it’s too late.
