The Future of Work–Lynda Gratton on HRZone

As I’ve probably said before, I highly recommend Lynda Gratton’s book, The Shift: The Future of Work is Already Here which came out earlier this year.  It comprehensively embraces all the current trends impacting the idea of work and projects them rather persuasively out to 2025.

On HRZone this week, Gratton posts a useful summary of her thinking.  Well worth a read if you haven’t yet read the whole book.

It should be of particular interest to current or prospective freelancers, interims, portfolio careerists and other sovereign professionals: you are in the forefront of much of what is forecast.
