The Danger of Simplistic Generational Distinctions–Nicholas Carr

Nick Carr posts a warning – extracted from the paperback release of The Shallows – on drawing overly simplistic lines between the generation of Digital Natives and older “Internet Immigrants” (I haven’t come across the latter term before.  I’m neither sure that I like it nor that it accurately describes the issue.  The things we sacrifice for a little alliteration Smile).

I believe that digital natives are different; but also that we overstate the case.  Worth a read.
